Elevate your daily commute with a smart, stylish, and safety-focused lighting upgrade designed specifically for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. From intelligent blind spot alerts to mood-enhancing ambient lighting, every feature is engineered to bring joy, awareness, and confidence to your ride.
Key features:
- Adjust ambient light color from the main screen.
- New Model 3/Y: Adjust ambient light brightness from the main screen.
- Old Model 3/Y: Adjust ambient light color using the right button on the steering wheel. （Press and hold the right scroll wheel to the right for 2 seconds to enter ambient light color adjustment mode. Then scroll up or down to change the color. If no action is taken for 5 seconds, the system will exit color adjustment mode.）
- Yellow warning for vehicles in blind spot.
- Red warning when using the turn signal with a vehicle in blind spot.
- Welcome effect: green flowing light moves from center to the open door side; if the door isn’t closed, about 100mm near the door side stays red.
- When increasing temperature or airflow: red flowing light moves left to right.
- When decreasing temperature or airflow: green flowing light moves right to left.
- When AP (Autopilot) is on: both sides display three-color effects.
Mode Switching (via steering wheel, left scroll wheel)
- Press left for 2 seconds → enter adjustment mode.
- Press right → switch between modes (3 modes available).
#1 Original Mode: Ambient lights stay on constantly, functions 1–9 remain the same.
#2 Throttle Mode: Red light starts in the center; the harder you press the accelerator, the red spreads outward.
#3 Breathing Mode: Light brightness pulses like breathing. When turning, one side lights green (100mm) and the other side lights the set color (100mm).

- New Model 3/Y: Adjust brightness in Tesla’s Ambient Light settings on the screen.
- Old Model 3/Y: Adjust brightness through the screen brightness setting.

4. How do the blind spot warning lights work?
When a vehicle enters your blind spot, the ambient light on that side will change color to alert you.
If you activate the turn signal while a vehicle is detected in the blind spot, the light will flash red as an additional warning, helping you notice the hazard without needing to look at the center screen.
5. Can I customize the ambient lighting colors?
Yes. The system features RGB ambient lighting, allowing you to select from multiple colors and lighting modes. You can adjust the color and brightness to match your preferred interior style or driving mood.
6. Will the lights be too bright at night?
No. The brightness is fully adjustable, so you can set a subtle glow for nighttime driving or increase brightness during the day. The lighting is designed to enhance the cabin atmosphere without distracting the driver.
7. Does the system turn off automatically when the car is parked?
Yes. The lighting system follows the vehicle’s power state. It turns on when the vehicle is active and shuts down automatically when the car is locked or powered off, so it will not drain the battery.
