Tesla has made another subtle but meaningful change to its Model Y Robotaxi fleet. The company has now disabled the familiar blinker and hazard light sounds inside the cabin when the vehicle is operating in Unsupervised mode. While it may seem like a minor software tweak, the update noticeably changes the ride experience and highlights how Tesla is adapting its vehicles for a future without a human driver.

If the Robotaxi activates its hazard lights while pulling over or responding to road conditions, riders don't necessarily need repeated audible alerts. Tesla seems to be focusing on creating a more relaxing interior environment while still communicating important information through the vehicle's display.
