Model Y Dual Zone Fridge Leads Tesla's Summer Collection

Model Y Dual Zone Fridge Leads Tesla's Summer Collection

Tesla is getting ready for summer with a fresh lineup of accessories built for road trips, camping, and outdoor adventures. The highlight is the new Model Y Dual Zone Fridge, a custom-designed refrigerator that fits perfectly inside the Model Y sub-trunk. Alongside it, Tesla has also introduced a redesigned Model Y Cooler and several lifestyle products, making the Summer Collection one of the most practical seasonal releases from the Tesla Shop.

Tesla Introduces the Model Y Dual Zone Fridge

The biggest addition to Tesla's Summer Collection is the new Model Y Dual Zone Fridge, priced at $595. Unlike portable coolers that slide around the cargo area, this refrigerator is designed specifically for the Model Y's sub-trunk, creating a clean factory-style installation without sacrificing cargo space.

The fridge plugs directly into the rear 12V outlet, so there is no need for additional batteries or power stations. It is compatible with every Model Y model year, making it an easy upgrade for both existing and new owners.

Dual-Zone Cooling Makes Road Trips More Convenient

What makes this refrigerator different is its dual-zone design. Each compartment can be set to a different temperature, allowing owners to keep frozen food in one section while storing drinks or fresh snacks in the other.

The temperature range runs from 0°F to 68°F, giving it far more flexibility than a traditional portable cooler. Whether you're heading out for a weekend camping trip or a full-day drive, everything stays at the temperature you choose.

The fridge offers 37 quarts of storage while fitting neatly beneath the cargo floor, helping keep the rear trunk organized.

Tesla Adds a New Model Y Cooler for 2025 Models

Tesla also expanded its cooler lineup with a new Model Y Cooler designed specifically for 2025-and-newer Rear-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive models. Earlier versions were only available for Premium and Performance trims, so this release makes the accessory available to more owners.

Instead of using electricity, the cooler relies on premium insulation to keep food and ice cold for days. It is shaped to fit securely inside the Model Y frunk, maximizing storage space while preventing unnecessary movement during driving.

For owners who only need cold drinks for a day trip, the cooler provides a simpler and more affordable alternative to the powered refrigerator.

Tesla Is Building More Accessories Around the Model Y

This launch follows Tesla's recent release of expandable trunk and sub-trunk organizers, showing a clear focus on improving everyday usability rather than simply adding cosmetic upgrades.

The latest accessories are designed to work with the vehicle instead of simply fitting inside it. From custom-shaped storage solutions to dedicated cooling systems, Tesla is gradually creating an ecosystem that feels integrated with the Model Y rather than relying on universal aftermarket products.

For owners who spend weekends camping, traveling, or visiting national parks, these additions make the Model Y even more capable.

North America Gets Early Access

For now, Tesla's Summer Collection is only available through the North American Tesla Shop. Similar product launches have expanded to Europe and other regions in the past, so international availability is likely to follow if demand is strong.

The Model Y Dual Zone Fridge is easily the standout product in this release. Its factory-fit design, dual-zone cooling, and simple plug-and-play installation make it one of Tesla's most practical accessories for owners who regularly travel long distances or enjoy outdoor adventures.

Want a Built-In Fridge for Your Model Y?

Tesla's new fridge isn't the only custom-fit option available. The Yeslak Sub-trunk 35L Fridge is designed to fit seamlessly beneath the cargo floor, turning unused space into a convenient refrigerator or freezer. It's worth taking a closer look if you spend a lot of time road-tripping or camping.
